msflogo_2013_webCo-founded in 2008 by nationally-recognized realtor Linda Archie and estate planning attorney Bob Triplett, Moving Seniors Forward- Community Resource Group is a trusted resource for access to dedicated and compassionate professionals. These professional resources are committed to community development and to providing quality services, products and information to enhance the lives of seniors and their families in our community.

Linda and Bob, through their respective legal and real estate professions, recognized that extra value could be brought to their clients by providing them access to a group of local professionals who could offer solutions to the various issues and problems people encounter as they age. Over the years, Moving Seniors Forward has already assisted over a thousand families. City of Thousand Oaks Council on Aging, Housing Committee

The City of Thousand Oaks Council on Aging & Housing is designed to address the needs of the Thousand Oaks community. Specifically, this committee  works together to propose ideas and recommendations for the future housing needs of the residents of Thousand Oaks.

As a real estate agent, specializing in 50+ real estate matters, Linda offers her subject matter expertise to help decision makers enact initiatives that benefit the local community and promote community development.


Volunteering

American Cancer Society, Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is one of the most well-known fundraising initiatives in the US. Inspired by her commitment for a cure, Linda has participated for nearly a decade with Relay for Life of Thousand Oaks.

As a natural leader and optimist, she has served as the Team Captain for several years. Linda appreciates the opportunity to mobilize her friends & peers for this very worthy cause. Spending time with her friends, raising money for a great cause, and community development make Relay for Life a valuable part of Linda’s life.


St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

As the mother of two and the grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren, contributing to the welfare of children has always been an important aspect of Linda’s commitment to the community. The tragedy that comes from childhood cancer is a devastating reality for many families.

Linda donates a portion of her earnings to St.Jude Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research, in the hopes that their life-changing research will spare children and their families from this overwhelming sickness.

“In appreciation for every referral received that becomes a home sale or purchase, I will donate $200 at close of escrow to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Help me continue donating — Have your friends and family call me!”


 Village Voices Chorale

The Village Voices Chorale is a long established local choral group also active in community development. They organize and host community events & fundraisers to support elementary music & choir programs. They also raise funds to provide scholarships for students who plan to major in voice programs.

As a former board member, Linda has served to help raise funds for their biannual themed concerts at the Civic Arts Plaza & at other community venues. Linda operates in a significant capacity to help motivate & inspire her community. She also sings first soprano.
